GORAKHPUR, Jan. 10 -- A sudden fire broke out on Friday morning at a floating restaurant located in the Ramgarhtal boating zone, causing panic among visitors and staff. However, with the timely action by emergency services, all those present were safely evacuated and no loss of life was reported., said officials. According to officials, the fire erupted around 11 am. Fire brigade teams and police personnel rushed to the spot within minutes after receiving information about the incident. The flames were brought under control swiftly, preventing the fire from spreading further. Office bearers of the floating restaurant stated that fire originated in kitchen due to a spark, which ignited nearby polythene materials. Strong winds further intensified the blaze, causing it to spread rapidly. Fire officer Sushant Kumar said that prompt information and the immediate deployment of three fire tenders helped avert a major tragedy.
