FIR filed against two officials for negligence in SIR
PRAYAGRAJ, Dec. 2 -- The assistant electoral registration officer has filed a named FIR at Colonelganj police station against a supervisor and a BLO, following laxity in the verification of voter lists under SIR campaign.
Supervisor and assistant teacher Rajiv Mishra has been accused of absence from duty, while the BLO and irrigation officer Suryaprakash Mishra is accused of failing to feed data through the BLO app.
As per the complaint filed by assistant electoral registration officer Rajendra Prasad, Rajiv Mishra of Ishwar Sharan Inter College, Chandpur Salori, had been deputed as supervisor for Parts 222 to 229 of the City North Assembly Constituency. However, Mishra remained absent from the Special Intensive Revision for several days.
Due to this, the BLO related to the allotted part number was not receiving the counting forms from voters and feeding them through the BLO app.
Assistant electoral registration officer Shailpati Yadav filed a case against BLO Surya Prakash Mishra, an irrigation department officer and posted as BLO in the zAssembly Constituency North Part No. 146. He has been accused of not feeding the counting forms related to the revision received from the voters in the BLO app....
