FIR against woman for abusing,throwing slipper at fuel stn staff
LUCKNOW, July 25 -- A woman was booked on Thursday for allegedly abusing customers and staff, and hurling her slipper at them at a fuel station in Vikas Khand, Gomti Nagar, police said.
An FIR was registered against her under sections 126, 135 and 135(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) after a 40-second video went viral on social media.
In the video, the woman, identified as Pooja Kashyap, is seen demanding that her vehicle be refuelled first, claiming she had arrived earlier than others. When confronted, she begins shouting at petrol pump staff and other customers. She is also seen brandishing her slipper and throwing it at one individual during the altercation.
Police said the incident occurred on Wednesday night (July 23).
According to officials, this is not the first time the woman has caused a public disturbance. A case was filed on Thursday in view of her repeated disruptive behaviour and for posing a threat to public order, they added....
