FIR against three govt employees for graft
LUCKNOW, Aug. 5 -- The state vigilance establishment has registered FIRs against three government employees for accumulating disproportionate assets (DA) beyond their known sources of income.
Shoaib Khan, a contractual computer operator posted at Subdivision-I, Power Distribution Division-II, Mirzapur, earned a total of Rs.8,91,053, officials said. However, his expenditure and property acquisitions during the same period totalled Rs.1,00,24,345.
In another Vipin Kumar, SDO of Power Distribution Subdivision-I, Jangi Road, Mirzapur, was found to have earned Rs.84,90,480 from legal sources during the assessment period, while his total expenditure amounted to Rs.1,35,36,226.
Similarly, Ram Babu Sachan, a former employee of Ghaziabad Development Authority, earned Rs.33,67,664 but spent Rs.65,02,218. HTC...
