Filmmaker Dhulia shares success mantra with students
PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 23 -- Giving success tips to students, actor-filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia on Friday said they should never be disappointed by failures as they teach several things besides showing a new path.
"It is very important to have wisdom along with studies. Education could get a job, but not make one an interesting person.
For that, you will have to evince interest in other things as well like photography, acting, culinary expertise etc," he said while addressing students during the motivational program United Talks-2025 organised by United Group of Institutions, Naini, where he was the guest of honour.
Talking of Prayagraj, where the filmmaker was born and bred, Dhulia said Sangam city was his mother as he not only received education here, but also cultural values. He said many changes have come in the Sangam city as far as food habits, thinking and level of education.
Dhulia also discussed some of his films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Haasil, Paan Singh Tomar etc and shared some interesting stories about the late actor Irfan Khan who was his friend too. In an interactive session, students also shared their views with the filmmaker. Later, he was honoured for his contribution to Indian cinema and the society....
