LUCKNOW, June 13 -- The department of medical gastroenterology at King George's Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow, observed Global Fatty Liver Day with a series of activities aimed at raising awareness about the prevention, early detection, and management of fatty liver disease. Prof Sumit Rungta, head of the department of medical gastroenterology, highlighted the alarming statistics surrounding fatty liver disease globally and stressed the significance of lifestyle modifications.
