Meerut, Dec. 8 -- A shocking incident unfolded in Mubarakpur Khadar village under Heempur Deepa police station limits in Bijnor district, where a domestic dispute led to the tragic death of a father and his two young children. Baburam (28), embroiled in an ongoing conflict with his wife, allegedly poisoned his daughter Harshika (3) and son Divyanshu (5) before consuming poison himself. All three died, leaving the entire village in mourning. According to the police, Baburam and his wife had frequent arguments, and a fresh dispute erupted on Saturday. Around 4 pm, he took the children to the nearby fields on the pretext of getting their hair cut. Once there, he administered a poisonous substance to both children, causing their condition to deteriorate rapidly. Following this, Baburam consumed poison as well. Villagers working nearby noticed Baburam struggling and immediately informed the family. His relatives rushed him to a hospital in Chandpur, where he succumbed during treatment.
