Meerut, Dec. 8 -- A shocking incident unfolded in Mubarakpur Khadar village under Heempur Deepa police station limits in Bijnor district, where a domestic dispute led to the tragic death of a father and his two young children. Baburam (28), embroiled in an ongoing conflict with his wife, allegedly poisoned his daughter (3) and son (5) before consuming poison himself. All three died, leaving the entire village in mourning. According to the police, Baburam and his wife had frequent arguments, and a fresh dispute erupted on Saturday. Around 4 pm, he took the children to the nearby fields on the pretext of getting their hair cut. Once there, he administered a poisonous substance to both children, causing their condition to deteriorate rapidly. The helpless minors died in the field while writhing in pain. Following this, Baburam consumed poison as well. Villagers working nearby noticed Baburam struggling and immediately informed the family. His relatives rushed him to a hospital in Chandpur, where he succumbed during treatment. Upon receiving the information, ASP Rural Prakash Kumar reached the spot with the police team and inspected the scene. The police later conducted the inquest of all three bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. ASP Kumar confirmed that the domestic discord had pushed Baburam to take the extreme step. Baburam's father, Ramratan, revealed that a recent episode involving his in-laws had further aggravated tensions. Baburam's cousin Jaidev said at the post-mortem house that Baburam made his living by selling vegetables. Villagers described him as gentle and sensitive, but emotionally strained due to constant issues with his in-laws....
