LUCKNOW, Sept. 28 -- A family travelling by bus was allegedly attacked by a group of individuals near Alambagh Metro Station on Friday afternoon, resulting in the woman's gold chain being snatched. Passersby intervened and alerted the police, who have registered an FIR and launched a probe. Alambagh police said an FIR has been filed under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including 115(2), 352, 351(3), 131, and 191(2). One accused, Shivani, along with six others, has been mentioned in the complaint. Guddi Devi, wife of Abhinash Gupta from Kushinagar, told police that on September 26, between 1:00 and 1:10 pm, five to seven transgender individuals attacked her family on a bus travelling from Alambagh to Agra. She alleged that the group demanded money from her husband, slapped him, abused the family verbally, and forcibly took her gold chain.
