Experts call for integrating natural and social sciences
LUCKNOW, Nov. 29 -- Prof Peter Mollinga of ZEF, University of Bonn, Germany, called for integrating natural and social sciences to address complex natural resource challenges. Speaking at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, he said the Industrial Revolution created fragmented disciplines, leading to isolated approaches in administration, engineering, and planning. He stressed that ecological and social systems are deeply connected and cannot be managed separately.
