LUCKNOW, June 29 -- As many as 141 artworks of 111 individuals, including painters, photographers and calligraphers, have been displayed in 17th International Calligraphy and Heritage Exhibition on the theme of Muharram that began at State Lalit Kala Akademi here on Saturday. The exhibition will remain open till July 3 from 11am-6pm daily. One Wise Trust in collaboration with UP Urdu Akademi and Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Memorial Committee has organised the event. "This year, around 21 photo artists, 38 painters and 45 calligraphers from India and abroad have participated in the exhibition," said organiser SN Lal. The participants include Manoj Chhabra, Azam Hussain, Mohd Qamar, Mushtaq, Najmul Hasan, Ali Jain Naqvi, Akit Singh, Saif Raza (Lucknow), Yogesh Pal (Delhi), Kamkir Warsi (Dehradun) abd Aiman Zahra (Kargil). Secretary finance Shahid Manzar, vice chancellor of Era University Dr Abbas Ali Mehdi, head priest Mankameshwar temple Mahant Devyagiri and Nawab Masood Abdullah were amongst those present during the inauguration ceremony...
