PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 26 -- The search for former Zila Panchayat member, Randhir Singh Yadav, who went missing from Friday night, has failed to achieve concrete results. However, his Scorpio was found abandoned in the rocky terrain of Chitrakoot. Police are examining the CCTV footage around the place.Several suspects are also being questioned in the matter. Randhir Singh Yadav, husband of Zila Panchayat member Babli Yadav, a resident of Hathigahan under Nawabganj police station area, has been a Zila Panchayat member in the past. Yadav went missing under suspicious circumstances at around 9 pm on August 22. He is said to have accompanied a youth, Ram Singh, before he went missing. Yadav's nephew, Dipesh Yadav, had lodged a missing person's report at Nawabganj police station. But even after four days, the police has failed to locate Randhir.
