Jhansi, Nov. 22 -- Two time former Samajwadi Party MLA from Garautha, Deepnarayan Singh Yadav, and some of his associates have been booked for threatening a person and pressuring him to register a land in the name of the former MLA. The victim, Prem Singh Paliwal, in his complaint at Moth police station, has accused Deepnarayan, his associate Anil Yadav and few unknown persons of thrashing him while he was going to the market. While training guns on him, they thrashed Prem and took out Rs 32,000 from his pocket and further asked for Rs 20 lakh as extortion money. Prem has further accused in his complaint that he has a land in village Burawli which is adjoining to Moon International School owned by Deepnarayan. He has been constantly pressuring Prem to sell it to him which Prem has been declining. Prem had earlier also lodged a complaint in this regard against the MLA for threatening him to sell the land to him or face dire consequences which is sub-judice.
