Lucknow, Aug. 19 -- The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) on Monday allotted 190 acres in Sector-10 to Escorts Kubota Limited for a state-of-the-art tractor manufacturing unit. The company had earlier signed an MoU with the state government for a 200-acre facility. Under the project, it will invest Rs.4,500 crore and create 4,000 jobs in phases. In the first phase, with Rs.2,000 crore investment, a tractor plant, commercial equipment unit and allied facilities will be set up.
