LUCKNOW, July 23 -- With the aim of expanding the facility of information and library network services and strengthening libraries and research resources in the state universities, all state universities signed a memorandum of understanding with the Information and Library Network Centre (INFLIBNET) on Tuesday. It was organised at Atal Convention Centre where vice chancellors of various state universities were also present. During the programme, governor Anandiben Patel said easy availability of information in the field of knowledge and research is the need of the hour. "Universities should equip their libraries with digital resources so that quality study material can be made available to students, researchers and teachers. The MoU will ensure that the educational quality in the state universities gets increased," she added....
