Chennai, July 21 -- AIADMK general secretary and Tamil Nadu's leader of opposition Edappadi Palaniswami (EPS) said on Saturday that Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin was scared of the AIADMK-BJP alliance in the state and asserted that his party would win the 2026 assembly polls with a majority and form the government independently. EPS made the remarks during his state-wide tour ahead of the 2026 assembly polls. AIADMK and BJP came together this April after a 19-month bitter separation and have been contradicting each other on the issue of power sharing. "Stalin is also saying that the AIADMK will form a coalition government with BJP. Mr. Stalin, we are not fools. AIADMK will win with a majority and form the government independently.
