LUCKNOW, Nov. 3 -- Agriculture minister Surya Pratap Shahi reviewed the state's fertiliser availability on Sunday and assured farmers that adequate quantities were available for the Rabi 2025-26 season. According to the mFMS portal, the state has received 35.68 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of fertilisers till November 2, of which 9.77 LMT have been sold, leaving a stock of 25.91 LMT-1.59 LMT higher than the same period last year. The minister said that 4.35 LMT of DAP, 4.80 LMT of NPK, 12.71 LMT of urea, 3.03 LMT of SSP, and 1.02 LMT of MOP were available. Cooperatives alone hold over 5.27 LMT of urea and other major fertilisers.
