Lucknow, Sept. 1 -- The city police have extended the deadline for registration of public transport vehicles under project Safe Ride from August 31 to September 30, an official said. The campaign seeks to regulate the operation of e-rickshaws and autorickshaws and ensure commuters' safety. JCP (Law & Order) Babloo Kumar said August 31 was previously fixed as the last date for registration of vehicle owners and drivers.
