Dy CM visits SRNH, reviews healthcare facilities
PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 6 -- Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Sunday paid a day-long visit to Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital (SRNH) to review healthcare facilities and other arrangements available for the public.
The deputy CM began his inspection at the Trauma Centre, where he interacted with patients, inquiring about their health and the medical services being provided. He emphasised that no patient, whether admitted or visiting for OPD services, should face any inconvenience.
Pathak directed Dr VK Pandey, principal of Moti Lal Nehru Medical College (MLNMC), to ensure that internal roads within the SRNH campus are repaired to prevent any difficulty for patients and their attendants.
While inspecting the first floor of the Trauma Centre, he instructed hospital staff to install additional ceiling and exhaust fans. He also called for further improvement of the overall healthcare infrastructure and urged hospital authorities to treat patients and their families with compassion and care.
Addressing the media, the deputy chief minister said the medical college would be upgraded further to provide world-class healthcare services. He announced that the number of hospital beds would be increased and additional resources added to turn the facility into a centre of advanced medical care....
