LUCKNOW, Nov. 19 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya the party's observer for the crucial meeting of the BJP Legislature Party in Bihar, signalling fast-paced political developments following the party's spectacular victory in the state. Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and former Union minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti have been named co-observers. BJP national general secretary Arun Singh issued a press release in this regard on Tuesday. The BJP Legislature Party in Bihar is expected to convene shortly where the party will formally announce its chief ministerial candidate.
