Lucknow, Sept. 5 -- The first Dudhwa Mahotsav will be held from November 15-17 at Dudhwa National Park in Lakhimpur Kheri, organised by the Uttar Pradesh Eco-Tourism Board. Positioned as a model of eco-conscious travel, the three-day festival will showcase wildlife conservation, community livelihoods, and cultural heritage. Highlights include wildlife safaris, birdwatching, forest yoga, cycling trails, and India's first Vistadome jungle train ride. "This festival is not just a celebration-it is a mission. We are shaping a new identity for UP as a global eco-tourism destination," said a tourism department official. A forest-themed tent city with eco-friendly design, solar power, and zero-waste principles will host visitors.
