Drunk man rapes labourer's wife
LUCKNOW, Nov. 25 -- A drunk youth from the same village barged into a daily-wage labourer's house in Banthra police station area on Sunday afternoon and allegedly raped the man's 40-year-old wife in front of their 12-year-old son. The woman's husband was away at work when the accused forcibly entered the house, threatened her and committed the crime. On hearing his mother's cries, the boy alerted neighbours. When villagers rushed in, the accused pushed them aside, fled the spot. Police statement said that they have registered an FIR under relevant sections of BNS for rape and criminal intimidation, conducted the woman's medical examination and launched a manhunt for the absconding accused....
