VARANASI, April 26 -- A recently installed anti-drone system at the Baba Kashi Vishwanath Temple Complex successfully detected and shot down a drone that entered the restricted area around 6pm on Friday, police said.The drone was neutralised and seized within the temple complex using the system.In a press note, deputy commissioner of police (Security) Suryakant Tripathi said the anti-drone system was installed to strengthen temple security. It detected the drone, disrupted its navigation, and brought it down.Following the incident, the inspector-in-charge of Chowk police station reached the spot, seized the drone, and deposited it at the station.
