Lucknow, Nov. 6 -- The BJP has launched an intensive campaign under the voter list special summary revision in Lucknow's East Assembly constituency, with party leaders urging booth-level workers to ensure every eligible voter's inclusion. Addressing a workshop, BJP OBC Morcha president and Rajya Sabha MP K Laxman here on Wednesday said that the Election Commission's ongoing purification of voter lists after nearly two decades, will strengthen democracy and ensure fair elections. He called upon party workers to coordinate with booth level officers and add every genuine voter's name. BJP state general secretary and MLC Govind Narayan Shukla said each booth should aim to add at least 50 new voters while verifying existing entries to prevent duplication or omission. Lucknow Mahanagar president Anand Dwivedi urged all 417 booth presidents to work actively for the next 30 days and ensure that no eligible citizen is left out of the voter list....
