Lucknow, Nov. 19 -- The directorate of revenue intelligence (DRI) here seized 3.110 kg of heroin at Charbagh railway station. A government press note stated that the seized narcotics are valued at about Rs.21.77 crore in the illegal international market. Officials said the action was based on specific intelligence that two women travelling from New Jalpaiguri to Delhi were carrying narcotic substances. The two women were arrested under the NDPS Act, 1985. The DRI has launched further investigation to trace the source of the supply and to uncover the broader network involved in trafficking....
