Lucknow, July 29 -- In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government on Monday transferred 23 IAS officers, including a dozen district magistrates and the Ayodhya divisional commissioner. Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Prayagraj are among the districts with new DMs. As per the official order, secretary, finance, Ministhy S, becomes the new cane commissioner. She replaces Pramod Kumar Upadhyaya who becomes secretary, social welfare. Gonda DM Neha Sharma has been appointed in-charge IG (stamp) while Bahraich DM Monika Rani has been moved to the secretariat as special secretary, basic education, besides being appointed additional director general, school education. Ayodhya divisional commissioner Gaurav Dayal becomes secretary, home. He has swapped positions with Rajesh Kumar. Gorakhpur DM Krishna Karunesh becomes additional executive officer, NOIDA, while Ghaziabad DM Deepak Meena goes to Gorakhpur in the same role. Prayagraj DM Ravindra Kumar Mandar is the new Ghaziabad DM. Gautam Buddha Nagar DM Manish Kumar Verma is the new Prayagraj DM. Kasganj DM Medha Rupam becomes the new GB Nagar DM. Pranay Singh, additional commissioner (administration) sugarcane and MD, UP Chini Nigam Ltd, goes to Kasganj as the DM. Kanpur Dehat DM Alok Singh becomes the special secretary, estate department and estate officer, replacing Pawan Gangwar who goes to Mirzapur as the DM. Kapil Singh, additional executive officer, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, goes to Kanpur Dehat as DM. Lalitpur DM Akshya Tripathi goes to Bahraich in the same capacity. Amanadeep Duli, special secretary, agriculture in APC branch, becomes the new Lalitpur DM. Mirzapur DM Priyanka Niranjan goes to Gonda in the same role. Jayanath Yadav, joint director, divyang welfare, goes to APC branch as special secretary. Pranata Aishwarya, special secretary, Namami Gange, is the new CDO of Sitapur. Dr Sarika Mohan, secretary, basic education goes to the finance department as secretary. Amrit Tripathi, CEO, Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority, Jhansi, goes to the department of higher education as secretary.
