Dehradun, April 13 -- Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a member of a gang involved in procuring fake arms licences from other states and getting them registered in Uttarakhand using forged no-objection certificates (NOCs), officials said on Sunday. The accused, identified as Amit Yadav, a resident of Hanumant Residency on Shimla Bypass in Dehradun, was arrested near Lakshmandi area. The STF recovered one fake arms licence from his possession.
