LUCKNOW, Jan. 5 -- Dog lovers and activists participated in a demonstration at Eco Garden here on Sunday over the Supreme Court's recent order to remove street dogs from public spaces, demanding a lawful and humane policy on stray dogs. Ahead of the apex court's next hearing on the matter on January 7, the protesters gathered under the banner 'Do or Die'. The animal rights activists urged the apex court to review and recall the order. Ankita Bajpai, an animal rights activist, said, "Most community dogs are peaceful, vaccinated, and part of the ecosystem. Removing them and confining them will increase, not decrease, aggression." Sandeep Adhikari, a practising advocate, said, "The Hon'ble Supreme Court has directed the creation of infrastructure worth thousands of crores through an interim order, which is unprecedented."HTC...
