Docs save life of woman with ectopic pregnancy
LUCKNOW, July 26 -- Doctors saved the life of a 30-year-old woman from Om Nagar, Alambagh, who was rushed to the emergency unit of the 50-bed Chandan Nagar Joint Hospital on Thursday with severe abdominal pain and loss of consciousness, officials said.
According to an official release on Friday, Dr Debashish Sharma, a surgeon on duty, assessed the situation and found that the woman's fallopian tube had ruptured due to an ectopic pregnancy, which is a life-threatening condition.
Dr Debashish Sharma and his team, including anesthesiologist Dr Abhishek Rai, performed an emergency surgery. As the woman had lost a significant amount of blood, four units were arranged and transfused during the surgery.
The medical team closely monitored the woman's condition throughout the night, the release said, adding that the woman is now stable and out of danger. HTC...
