VARANASI, Nov. 22 -- District magistrate Satyendra Kumar on Friday visited Padma awardee Pt Shivnath Mishra, a renowned sitar player of the Banaras Gharana, at his residence in Bhadaini as part of the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) campaign to ensure the electoral rolls are accurate, error-free, and up-to-date. The DM inquired about the sitarist's well being and provided detailed information regarding the special intensive revision campaign. He presented the sitarist with a counting form and instructed him on how to fill it out. The DM then instructed the BLO present at the site to have other family members fill out the counting forms and collect them.
