VARANASI, Nov. 29 -- Divisional commissioner S Rajalingam inspected the ongoing construction work of the international cricket stadium at Ganjari on Friday. During the inspection, it was reported that 75% of the project had been completed. Work that had been halted due to rain has been resumed and will be completed by mid-March-April. Over 75% work of the international cricket stadium, with practice ground almost ready, players' pavilion being given finishing touches, structural steel covering on the audience gallery being installed. A senior official said that 90% works on the pavilion, VVIP lobby and other places, practice ground have been completed. Four poles, each 60 meter-tall, with mega lights have been installed on the practice ground on the premises of the stadium. Structural steel covering on the audience gallery is being fixed. Finishing touches are being given to the VVIP lounge and pavilion fixed for players.
