LUCKNOW, May 4 -- Dharampal Singh, BJP state general secretary (organisation), on Sunday addressed organisational meetings of Paschim (western) Kshetra in Ghaziabad and Braj Kshetra in Aligarh, where he issued directives on booth empowerment, worker activation and public outreach. The meetings were attended by district presidents, district in-charges, and 'pravasis' of all mandals. Singh said the BJP's greatest strength is its robust organisational structure whose foundation rests on strong booth units. "If the booth is strong, the organisation will automatically be strong, and this will form the basis of electoral success," he stressed. Addressing workers, he said that every karyakarta is the backbone of the party, and it is through their activism that the party's ideology, policies and the government's welfare schemes reach the last person in society. Singh asserted that all office-bearers must visit their areas and ensure physical verification of booth committees. Wherever booth committees are incomplete, they should be completed on priority. He also directed to form an active team at every booth and ensure its continuous functioning. htc...
