LUCKNOW, March 6 -- Former MP Dhananjay Singh on Friday surrendered before the MP/MLA court in Prayagraj, just a day after the Lucknow police announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest in connection with the Vibhuti Khand shootout case, police officials said here.

They said Singh surrendered in the court in a separate case registered against him in Khuthan police station of Jaunpur in 2017. A senior police official of Prayagraj said Singh reached the court in the guise of a lawyer and appeared before special judge MP/MLA Alok Kumar Srivastava at around 11.15 am.
