Lucknow, Nov. 19 -- Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Tuesday led an 'Ekta Yatra' (Unity Walk) organised to mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th birth anniversary. The Yatra started from Shringar Nagar and concluded at Mavaiya Chowk, with participants carrying the national flag and chanting slogans for unity and integrity. Pathak praised Patel's role in integrating 562 princely states into a unified India. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for continuing Patel's legacy by working towards the development and empowerment of the poor. Pathak emphasised the importance of unity and integrity in India's progress and development. District BJP president Anand Dwivedi highlighted the importance of Patel's vision and leadership in shaping modern India.
