Bahraich, July 13 -- Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya visited former minister and Bahraich Sadar MLA Anupama Jaiswal on Saturday to offer condolences on the demise of her mother-in-law, who passed away last month. Speaking to the media on the ongoing language controversy in Maharashtra, Maurya said that all languages are Indian languages but Hindi is the national language and opposing it is unfair. Hitting out at the opposition, Maurya said that Akhilesh Yadav tweets sitting in an AC room, which makes him think that he can do politics for 25 crore people. Now those days are gone. The days of booth capturing and hooliganism are also over now. Maurya commented, "What happened in the 2017 assembly elections will be repeated in 2027." He said that India and Uttar Pradesh are witnessing rapid growth in every sector. "India has now emerged as a strategic power and is the fourth largest economy in the world. Thanks to the visionary leadership of PM Modi, the country is setting new benchmarks of progress daily. As many as 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty," he stated. htc...
