Deputy CM, others pay tribute to Gulab Singh Lodhi
LUCKNOW, Aug. 24 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders paid floral tribute to Amar Shaheed Gulab Singh Lodhi on his 91st Balidan Diwas here on Saturday. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, district BJP president Anand Dwivedi, MLC Mukesh Sharma, along with party workers paid him tribute at his statue at Jhandewala Park in Aminabad.
Addressing a gathering there, Pathak said: "Amar Shaheed Gulab Singh Lodhi was a great freedom fighter who sacrificed his life for the country when he was just 32. It is because of the sacrifice of true sons like Gulab Singh that today the country is independent."
Anand Dwivedi said: "The sacrifice of Gulab Singh Lodhi gives us the message that nothing is greater than the motherland." htc...
