LUCKNOW, Nov. 28 -- Dense fog blanketing large parts of northern India severely disrupted air operations on Thursday, with Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport experiencing one of its most challenging days of the season. Three major IndiGo flights- Lucknow-Mumbai (6E-2441), Lucknow-Bengaluru (6E-6354), and Mumbai-Lucknow (6E-2442)-were cancelled. Airport officials said the cancellations were unavoidable as visibility dropped sharply during crucial takeoff and landing windows. International services bore the brunt of the disruption. The Sharjah-Lucknow flight 6E-8692 landed nearly 10 hours behind schedule, while the outbound 6E-8751 to Sharjah took off after a staggering delay of 10 hours and 30 minutes. Frustrated passengers reported long waits with limited updates. Domestic flights across key routes, including Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, and Mumbai, were delayed between 35 minutes and two hours. Airlines struggled to manage the backlog as weather conditions fluctuated through the day. Authorities have advised travellers to remain updated on flight schedules and warned that further disruptions are possible if fog persists....
