Decision will empower workers: CM
LUCKNOW, Nov. 22 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday welcomed the implementation of the four labour codes by the Union government. Quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's post on X, Yogi wrote in Hindi: "Heartfelt thanks to the Honourable Prime Minister for implementing all four labour codes while ensuring the welfare, safety, and dignity of crores of workers in the country."
"...This historic decision will further empower workers by providing them with better wages, social security, safe working conditions, and equal opportunities. At the same time, it will accelerate the journey towards 'Developed India' by giving a new momentum to investment, productivity, and job creation...This decision, which brings the spirit of Shramev Jayate to life, is a powerful symbol of worker empowerment, economic progress, and the resolve for Atmanirbhar Bharat," he added.
The remarks were made in response to Modi's post: "Shramev Jayate! Today, our Government has given effect to the Four Labour Codes. It is one of the most comprehensive and progressive labour-oriented reforms since Independence. It greatly empowers our workers. It also significantly simplifies compliance and promotes 'Ease of Doing Business.'" HTC...
