LUCKNOW, May 24 -- A day after Gudamba police arrested four people for allegedly harassing a 24-year-old nursing student and a passenger in a moving e-rickshaw on May 19, a video of the incident has now gone viral on social media. In the viral video captured in CCTV, the woman can be seen jumping from the e-rickshaw. As per the police, the woman was subjected to indecent gestures and physical assault by the e-rickshaw driver and three others. "Following her complaint, a case was registered under sections 74 and 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)," said DCP (crime) Kamlesh Dixit. Acting swiftly, the investigating officer, sub-inspector Ranjeet Kumar Mishra, along with a police team, identified and apprehended the four accused.
