Daily drives, Amrit Samwad sessions boost cleanliness
PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 20 -- North Central Railway (NCR) has launched a series of impactful initiatives under Special Campaign 5.0, being observed across Indian Railways from October 2 to October 31, 2025.
The campaign, led by general manager Naresh Pal Singh, aims to ensure comprehensive cleanliness across stations, offices, and workshops, along with efficient record management, scrap and e-waste disposal, and citizen engagement through Amrit Samwad programmes.
Alongside routine housekeeping, NCR is conducting daily cleanliness drives, with the Amrit Samwad initiative enabling direct interaction between railway officials and passengers.
Held at major NCR stations, these sessions gather passenger feedback to improve services and showcase upgrades under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, including better facilities, modern amenities, and enhanced accessibility for Divyangjan passengers. GM emphasised that cleanliness is a continuous practice reflecting discipline and social responsibility.
