Agra, May 20 -- The in-charge of the cyber crime police station in Agra has been suspended for dereliction of duty, following a surprise inspection by deputy commissioner of police (city), Sonam Kumar. During Sunday's inspection, it was revealed that inspector Samay Singh, in charge of the cyber-crime police station under the Agra Police commissionerate, had been irregular in attending duty. Based on a report submitted by deputy commissioner of police (City) Sonam Kumar, police commissioner Deepak Kumar ordered his immediate suspension. A press statement issued by the media cell of the Agra Police commissionerate confirmed that inspector Reeta Yadav has been appointed as the new in-charge of the cyber crime police station with immediate effect. In a separate case, sub-inspector Kuldeep Kumar, posted at Iradatnagar police station, has also been suspended over allegations of misconduct. He is accused of unlawfully preventing a farmer from transporting sand, despite the farmer possessing valid permission. Additionally, Kumar proceeded without informing his station in-charge, which further violated protocol. Investigations into both incidents are currently underway....
