PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 23 -- After concluding the hearing, the Allahabad high court reserved its order on a bail application filed by senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan in a criminal case alleging grabbing of "Quality Bar" in Rampur district. The above order was passed by Justice Samir Jain on August 21 after hearing the counsel for the petitioner and the prosecution sides. In 2019, an FIR was lodged against one Syed Jafar Ali Jafri, Azam Khan's wife Tazeen Fatma and son Abdullah Azam in this connection by revenue inspector Angraj Singh. In this FIR, Azam Khan was not named. Later, the case was reinvestigated after five years and Azam Khan was made an accused in it. The "Quality Bar" is located in Said Nagar Hardoi Patti on the highway under Civil Lines police station. During the course of hearing, the counsel for the applicant, Imran Ulla, contended that there was undue delay in the lodging of FIR as according to it, the incident occurred in 2013....
