Gorakhpur, Dec. 22 -- A security lapse came to light on Friday afternoon when a cow entered the convoy of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath during an inauguration programme in Gorakhpur. The incident occurred as the chief minister stepped out of his vehicle at the Gorakhnath railway crossing to inaugurate a parallel overbridge. Although security personnel swiftly secured the area and ensured the CM's safety, the breach prompted immediate action. Arvind Kumar, a supervisor of the Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation responsible for route monitoring, was suspended for negligence.
