New Delhi, May 21 -- The Covid-19 situation in the country remains under control even though countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong are reporting a surge in cases, government officials said, adding that Union ministry of health and family welfare held a meeting of technical experts on Monday to review the situation. "Recent media reports have highlighted an increase in Covid-19 cases in Singapore and Hong Kong in the last few weeks. As per the preliminary information available, the cases are mostly mild," read the note shared by people familiar with the matter in the government.
