PRAYAGRAJ, June 26 -- The court of Special Judge Parul Verma of the POCSO Act has rejected the bail plea of three accused, including two women, presently lodged in jail on charges of kidnapping and religious conversion of a minor girl. While pleading on behalf of the state in the court during the hearing of the bail application of the accused Mohammad Saif, Majida Bano, and Sabreen of Delhupur police station area of Pratapgarh, special public prosecutor Rajesh Tripathi told the court in his arguments that according to the police and the plaintiff side, an attempt was made to escape after kidnapping the minor girl and forcibly converting her. However, the police team engaged in investigating the case arrested the accused from Prayagraj Junction on May 13, besides the minor girl was also recovered. The court has rejected the bail application of the three accused after hearing the arguments of the government advocate on Wednesday....
