Dehradun, June 23 -- Two people have been arrested for allegedly sexually harassing girls in Mussoorie and attacking three people who tried to stop them with a knife, police on Sunday said, adding that a search has been initiated for two more accused. Senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh said the two accused, identified as Karan, and Manish Kumar, residents of Jalandhar in Punjab, were arrested on Saturday. "The two were booked under BNS sections 118 (1) (Voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 75 (3) (sexual harassment), 78 (2) (Stalking) at Mussoorie police station on the complaint of Tehri Garhwal resident Ashish Panwar," he said. "The FIR was registered on the basis of a complaint by Ashish Panwar, a resident of Dira village in Tehri Garhwal. The complaint stated that on June 21 between 1 pm and 2 pm, some people were harassing girls near Kempty taxi stand and following them. When some locals tried to stop them, they assaulted them.
