Jhansi, Dec. 5 -- A sub-inspector, two constables, and a few unidentified persons have been booked for allegedly torturing a POCSO accused while bringing him from Delhi to Jhansi. The special POCSO court ordered the FIR against SI Ashok Kumar and constables Akash Singh and Priti Vishwakarma for causing hurt and grievous injuries. The accused, Lokpal Singh of Panna, was arrested on 16 November. He later claimed he was brutally assaulted, suffering 23 wounds, a fractured pelvic bone and broken teeth. The court rejected the police's claim of a highway accident.
