LUCKNOW, Nov. 15 -- The Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration's new vertical system, aimed at improving delivery of electricity-related services and communication with consumers, is set to be launched on Saturday (November 15). But officials have flagged the issue of a large number of consumers having incorrect/inactive mobile numbers registered in their billing records. Under the new system, consumers will receive all critical electricity-related information directly on their registered mobile numbers. This includes notifications, guidance on increasing load and most importantly complaint registration details that are sent immediately when a consumer dials toll-free helpline 1912.
