New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday strongly countered Congress' charges of "vote chori", with spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi accusing the Opposition party of fostering anarchy, targeting constitutional institutions and pursuing divisive politics aimed at a narrow vote base.
Responding to slogans raised against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Congress' rally against alleged vote theft, Trivedi said the Congress needed to realise that "the more venom it spews against PM Modi, the more public support he will continue to receive".
"...The Congress party, which while in power morally supported terrorists, is now trying to create fear within constitutional institutions," Trivedi said.
Claiming that videos from the event showed Congress workers wishing for Modi's death and chanting slogans about digging his grave, Trivedi alleged that the party was "increasingly becoming a platform for anarchy rather than functioning as a political party"....
