LUCKNOW, April 30 -- Taking a dig at the Congress, Uttar Pradesh BJP president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary accused the party and its IT cell of standing against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a time when the entire nation and the world were rallying behind him. He was referring to the "adverse comments" of some of its leaders on the Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir. "Today when the opposition has the time to stand with the government and become the strength of the country, the mental bankruptcy of the Congress is working to create an environment against the nation by opposing the honourable Prime Minister," he wrote in a post on social media platform X. He also reminded the Congress not to forget that PM Modi had elevated India's global stature. Alleging that the Congress had historically aligned with anti-India elements, Chaudhary termed it a "Pakistan-leaning party that works at the behest of anti-national forces."
